Abandonment is a display of the work resulting from an artist residency at Fundação Oriente in Macau. The exhibition comprises a set of drawings, paintings and a video installation showing fragments of trees. Fragments that are comparable to what a human being is to the universe: he can never understand it or fill it at all; remnants in mutation, something open, incomplete. A non-place with the potential to become a place of encounter.
